Usually, it is only the bride that is allowed to wear white on her wedding day but with the evolution of fashion, this rule has changed now even bridesmaids and wedding guest stun in white at weddings. But asides from colours , we have other outfits that a wedding guest should stay away from when attending a wedding, below are a list of outfits you should stay away from as a wedding guest.
A super short dress: When attending a wedding as a single lady, it’s understandable you might looking out to mingle with single guys at the wedding thereby tempted to throw on a mini-dress but you should never fall for that temptation, NEVER GO TO A WEDDING WITH A SUPER SHORT DRESS.
A red dress: Wearing red is an attention-grabber, and it is rude to try to take attention from the bride, it’s her day so let her enjoy it to the fullest without you dragging her attention with her.
A super tight dress:If people can see your belly button, areola, and/or cameltoe outline through your dress then it is too tight for a wedding, drop it, ladies.
Makeup like a stripper: Your makeup should be moderate and not be fiberboard like you are going to strip at a night club.
Head-to-toe black: “Unless you are crashing your ex’s nuptials hoping to make a statement, it’s better not to dress as if you are heading to a funeral”.
Club Attire to a Wedding: This screams just one thing TACKY! Club wear, overtly sexy clothing (see-through etc) doesn’t it belong at a wedding and shouldn’t it be worn out of respect for your hosts. Save you revealing and sexy clothes for a club night.
Jewelry that jingles: Think about it, you enter a quiet church with your jewelries making loud bangs you will only embarrass yourself so stick to statement earrings instead.
A dress with a plunging neckline
